Libre comme l'Art

LILA organizes various artistic activities, ponctual or reccurrent. The goal is to promote Arts and Creation, locally, but also at a more global scale. But also we are looking for a saner Arts practice, compared to the "industry" which became predominent lately. This is why we are Free Software users and Libre Art license promoters. Finally we want to enable artists to live from their Arts.

Below a non-exhaustive list of activities we animate:

• Kids art workshops. In particular animation film creation tailored for all age. Rather than being passive in front of a screen, why wouldn't young people be able to create their own animation movies?
• Art workshops for adults. Because is it fair if that were only for kids? ;-)
• Artist and project support, Art residencies…
• Support for Free Software, in particular the ones used in Arts practice (drawing, animating, music…) or for Libre Arts projects (for instance movies or music albums under some Creative Commons licenses, etc.).
• Internal Projects: we are conducting our own Arts projects with active members.
• And much more!
